Toyota is moving production of the Prius to an all new production facility in Mississippi and will be producing the all new 2010 Toyota Prius there.  As we learn about the new Prius we will post updates to keep everyone in the Peruzzi family aware of what Toyota has planned.

Toyota Rental Vehicles available at Peruzzi Toyota

November 28, 2008 | Posted by epainter

Just a reminder to let you know we have Toyota Rentals vehicles available here at Peruzzi Toyota.  These rental vehicles are available for daily, weekly and monthly rental.  Our Toyota Rental vehicle line up includes Matrix, Yaris, Corolla, Camry, Sienna, Rav4 and Highlanders.  We also offer rental Tom Tom navigation systems to help you get where your going.

After speaking to our Toyota Rental Manager Kelly Shepherd about the program she reminded me “Another great benefit of renting the vehicle before you purchase is to make sure you love the way it drives.”  It makes sense to rent the vehicle if you are unsure about it before you make a major purchase.

Peruzzi Toyota makes scheduling a rental very easy.  You can schedule your Toyota rental online at Toyota Rentals or reach Kelly Shepherd @ torentals@peruzzi.com or 215-977-1111.

Owners of Pre-Certified Cars Need to Wear Glasses

November 28, 2008 | Posted by jcme

Are you one of those drivers that think they can drive without their glasses? A study in the United Kingdom showed that about 10 percent of drivers of new, used and pre-certified cars have almost been in accidents simply because they were not wearing their specs.

The research was done by SpecSavers and it revealed that more than 25 percent of motorists haven’t even seen their optician in years. Of that 25 percent, about half of them admitted that they would probably fail an eye test if they took one right now. A previous survey by the same company revealed that about 25 percent of drivers cannot even see well enough to be behind the wheel!

Let this be a lesson to owners of pre-certified cars. We all have to share the roads with each other and we should do our part to stay safe. Whether this means driving with your glasses on or making sure our cars are in the best working order, we should do what we can this holiday seasons to be safe. You can get great pre-certified cars at your Toyota certified dealer for peace of mind today!

Satellite Radio Makes Perfect Gift for Certified Pre-Owned Cars

November 26, 2008 | Posted by jcme

Do some of your friends own certified pre-owned cars? If so, have you thought of a Christmas gift for them yet? If you’re having trouble thinking of something, a satellite radio subscription is a great gift for owners of certified pre-owned cars.

There has never been a better time to get satellite radio, either. The two biggest names in the business – XM and Sirius – are doing a joint campaign to make things simpler for potential subscribers. They are also offering a discounted rate for the second subscription when you subscribe to one. As a result, you could get both services for as low as $20 a month! This is all part of the “Best of Both” campaign that the companies recently launched in an effort to get the attention of more subscribers.

But wait…that’s not all. As a special promotion this holiday season, the two companies are offering a free three-month trial that you can enjoy.

You can get more information about aftermarket supplies for Sirius XM at your local Toyota certified dealer. While you’re shopping for your friends, why not purchase a subscription for yourself, too?

Three Tips for Buying Certified Pre-Owned Cars

November 24, 2008 | Posted by jcme

Whether you’re looking for a Toyota certified car or some other certified pre-owned cars, the process of finding the right one for you can be overwhelming. Certified pre-owned cars are major purchases and you want to invest your money in something that will last for several years to come. Following are three tips to help you buy a certified used car that meets your needs.

1. Know exactly what you want. If you just hop around from lot to lot without having an idea in your mind about what you are looking for, you are more likely to make a bad decision. Put some thought into the car you want before you start looking.

2. Read online reviews. Online reviews are one of the best ways to see what other people are saying about the cars you are considering. Just keep in mind that there will likely be more negative reviews than positive because people would rather complain about a product instead of praise one.

3. Test drive a few certified pre-owned cars
. Once you’ve narrowed your search down to a few cars, take them for a test drive before making your final decision. Taking a car for a test drive before deciding to buy it may seem like common sense, but you’d be surprised how many car buyers do not go this extra step.

Toyota Enthusiasts Club Celebrate Toyotas

November 24, 2008 | Posted by jcme

You probably know all about the various Prius owners and Toyota Hybrid owners clubs that have sprung up all around the country in the last few years. The Prius has engendered quite a bit of loyalty from its drivers, and owners seem to feel a certain kinship with one another naturally.

The friendship that comes from owning a Toyota isn’t a new thing, however. Take, for example, the Toyota Enthusiasts Club in the United Kingdom. The Club was founded in 1991. The objective of the club is to help preserve Toyotas more than 10 years old. They don’t limit membership to owners of older Toyotas, however, and welcome those that drive newer vehicles.

The club offers technical information as well as help with locating parts. They put on displays at auto shows, including a large number of Japanese-specific shows. In addition, they also put on their own national sow in the UK.

The club produces a magazine and also hosts a website. The site features forums where enthusiasts can connect with one another, trade information and get help with problems.

If you like what Toyota has done in the past, wait until you see what they have to offer today. Come by your Langhorne area Toyota dealer today and take a test drive.
