The 4Runner from Toyota has been around since 1984, back in a time when the “Sport Utility Vehicle” was an oddity of sorts. Today, the SUV is a regular part of the automotive landscape. True to its roots as an off road vehicle, today’s 20099 Toyota 4Runner has all of the features you’ve come to expect from Toyota.

The off road category is where the 4Runner shines. It has outstanding ability off road, able to scale peaks and compete on trails. Its rugged enough to handle ruts and mud, as well.

But the 2009 Toyota 4Runner isn’t just capable off road. It is just as comfortable in town. It has plenty of comfort and roominess. True to the original formula for the SUV, the 4Runner still gives you comfort and luxury.
There are three trim levels on the 2009 Toyota 4Runner, offering a variety of amenities. The base SR5 model even has plenty of amenities to offer, including cruise control, power accessories, a power rear window, and a CD/MP3 player with an audio jack. On the other end of the lineup is the Limited, which has illuminated running boards, dual zone climate controls, a household style power outlet and plenty of leather trim.
If you want true SUV ability with the comfort of a luxury SUV, look no further than the Toyota 4Runner.

No one needs to tell you how important it is to be able to see out of your windshield. Whether it’s because of rain or other weather issues, or whether its because something lands on your windshield, keeping your windshield clean is key to driving safely.
Many people choose to replace their wiper blades about once every six months. This seems to be about right, and gives you the opportunity to replace them before they cause a problem.
Other people prefer to watch for specific signs in order to decide its time to replace their wiper blades. For example, if their blades start to streak all of the time, it is probably time to replace them. The same holds true if the blades seem to “bounce” across the windshield.
There are other visible signs that its time to replace your Toyota’s wiper blades, as well. For exmaple, over time the rubber on the blades wear and may split. Also, if your wiper blade frame is bent or damamged, it’s probably time to replace the blades, as well.
From oil changes to repair service to even replacing your wiper blads, we’ve got you covered. Come and see your Conshohocken area Toyota dealer for all of your service needs today.

The Toyota Avalon is perhaps one of the most overlooked vehicles in the Toyota lineup. While it isn’t the fuel-efficient Prius, the off road capable 4runner or the iconic Civic, the 2009 Toyota Avalon is one of Toyota’s best offerings. If you want a well built full size sedan, the 2009 Toyota Avalon is the vehicle for you.

Sometimes, a spacious and more fuel efficient large sedan makes more sense than a large, gas-guzzling SUV. The 2009 Toyota Avalon fits this niche perfectly. It competes favorably to the Lincoln Town Car as well as the Mercury Grand Marquis.

The V6 under the hood of the 2009 Toyota Avalon provides more than enough get up and go for this vehicle. The six speed automatic transmission is responsive, and helps to give the 2009 Toyota Avalone one of the best speeds in the class and price range.
If you want a quiet, quality, composed ride, cosnider the 2009 Toyota Avalon today.
When you think about Toyota, chances are you think about things like reliability, or about fuel efficiency. The Toyota Prius, for example, has become so synonymous with green driving that many people looking for a larger vehicle to transport a family don’t even think about Toyota. This is unfortunate, because the Toyota Sequoia stands up tall with the rest of the large SUVs on the market.
The 2009 Toyota Sequoia is the largest SUV currently offered by Toyota. This vehicle has plenty of room and enough off road capability to get you where you want to go.
There are plenty of choices when it comes to this large SUV, as well. There are, for example, three specific trim levels. The base SR5 level offers plenty of equipment and luxuries, such as power accessories, CD audio with an aux jack, three zone climate controls, alloy wheels, and a 40/20/40 second-row bench seat.
The Limited adds several features to the 2009 Toyota Sequoia. It has power front seats, an upgraded sound system, and even Bluetooth connectivity. It also features leather upholstery.
At the top of the heap is the Platinum. This one has the works. It sports 20 inch wheels, gives load-leveling rear air springs, has a power liftgate, gives captain’s chairs to the second row, and has a backup system with camera.

A summer car trip can be a wonderful time of bonding and family togetherness, or it can be a nightmare of arguments, illness and anxiety. Here are a few things you can do when you load up your Toyota this summer for a trip:
- Plan ahead. Be realistic about what to expect from yourself and your family. Don’t expect that you’re going to be able to drive for 10 to 12 hours each day if you have toddlers. You’re probably not going to be able to get more than 6 hours at a time. If you have a toddler, you should consider making your trip somewhere closer to home, or breaking up your travel over several days.
- Pack effectively. You should probably start packing a few days before you leave. At the very least, you should put together a packing list for each member of the family. Work with your kids on the packing process. This helps in a couple of ways. First, you can be sure they get everything packed. Second, when the time comes for them to get something out of their suitcase, they may remember exactly where they packed it.
- Bring the right gear. Make sure you’ve got safety equipment. If you’re going to the beach, make sure you’ve got sunscreen, beach chairs, towels and swimsuits. Wherever it is you’re going, make sure you’ve got all of the things that you’re going to need.
- Bring something for the kids to do. Car games like “I Spy” can get very old, very fast. Consider bringing some portable or travel games for the family to enjoy during the trip.
- Bring snacks and drinks. Buying beverages and food at gas stations can become expensive very quickly. Bring your own snacks and drinks in order to save a few dollars along the way.

If your car’s air conditioning has stopped working, your instinct is probably to bring the vehicle in for service. That’s not a bad thing, necessarily, as repairing an air conditioning unit can be complex. Still, in many cases, your air conditioning system may just need to be recharged. This is something you may be able to do on your own, at home.
First, you need to find out if your car uses R134 refrigerant, rather than the older R12 refrigerant. Your owner’s manual should tell you what kind of refrigerant your car uses. If you have R134, you can recharge your air conditioning.
To do so, you’ll need to buy pressurized freon and a pressure gauge to know how much freon you have in your air conditioning system. You can buy expensive professional equipment to do this, but it’s not especially economical. You can instead buy an air conditioner recharge kit, which is relatively inexpensive and easy to understand.
Generally, the kit will consist fo a can of refrigerant with a pressure gauge and hose built in. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to refill your air conditioning. If that solves the problem, wonderful. If not, consider bringing your vehicle in for service to your Conshohocken area Toyota dealer today.

Toyota is well known for making the most fuel efficient vehicles on the market today, and none is more outstanding than the Prius. The 2010 Toyota Prius is now available, and it has been fully redesigned. Fans of this car, as well as those who may be curious about the Prius, will not be disappointed.

The new Prius has enhanced steering, more power, even better fuel economy, and a sleeker style. The shape is familiar, but a bit sportier than the previous version. The new Prius looks smaller, but in all reality it is about an inch longer and wider than the 2009 version.

The new Prius features a larger and more powerful gas engine, which allows cruising to be much smoother. The electrick motor is smaller, too. However, even with these changes, gas mileage has increased by about 3 miles per gallon on both the highway and the city, with an estimated 48 miles per gallon on the highway and 51 in the city.
If you’re a Prius fan, check out the new 2010 model today.
